Unreal... exactly! Incredible sculptures of creepy, grotesque, mottled skin and uncannily gigantic proportional figures are the work of Ron Mueck, an Australian hyper-realist sculptor working in the UK.

We saw the Ron Mueck show here in Ottawa at the National Gallery. Absolutely brilliant stuff! The detail is astounding.
